THE LABOR PARTY.
PLATFORM ADOPTED IN AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 30. At a labor meeting hold to-night, it was decided t-o form a New Zealand Labor Party, having for its main planks land nationalisation and a State note issue. A motion wag carried recommending the executive to include as one of the planks of the nlatform the nationalisation of the means of production, distribution, and exchange, the Socialist party having intimated that they would not join forces unless this were done.
