Buddo re bookmakers’ regulations, stated that he had forwarded, as secretary of the Canterbury /Jockey Club, to the Minister of the Interior regulations with reference to book-
makers, "and apparently the Minister, forgetting the dual position held by him (Mr. Wanklyn), came to the conclusion that the regulations had been sent by-him as secretary of tho Racing Conference. .
