MR SIMSON AND THE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
(To the Editor.) Six*,—Dr. Collin's motion that the Sanitary Committee object to meet me and discuss the question whether I should spend £l2 or not in extending my drain) is without doubt, coming from the ratepayer’s representative, most discourteous and not what wo might expect from a councillor who is a medical man, and that man Dr Clive Collins. He is apparently totally ignorant of the ordinary procedure of municipal -or business matters and appears to think that by giving expression to his scientific knowledge his eloquence is achieving that high ambition which his great mind soars to.- I would very humbly suggest to the Borough Council that instead of picknicking visits to MissGentle Annie they take lessons in the rudiments of common politeness and the elementary knowledge of municipal procedure.—l am, etc., lAN S. -SIMSON.,
