At the Horse Show the New Zealand contingent was much admired, being of a higher quality than the Australian animals. Mr. Gadsby (Taranaki) >von tho first prize for heavy Clydesdale mare. Mr. James Grant (Hawera) was first for two draught mares or geldings driven, and first and second for mare or gelding driv'en.
