THE WEATHER.
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ weather forecast: —Moderate to strong westerly winds and changeable weather probable north of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerly winds., strong to gale, with rain, probably elsewhere. Conditions are very unsettled in the south, and a temporary rise in the barometer is expected there shortly, with cold and damp weather.
