"VERDICT OF MANSLAUGHTER. HAY SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. United Press Association—Copyright MELBOURNE, August 5. In connection with , the Horsham tragedy on July 12, Hay and Mrs Cox were charged with the wilful murder of the female prisoner’s husband. Hay was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment. Mrs Cox was acquitted.
