AN OBJECTIONABLE REMARK. A MEMBER EJECTED. United Press Association —Copyrighi SYDNEY, August 5. In the State Assembly, Mr Carmichael created a sceno during the debate on the Inebriates Bill by declaring: “We have had and have brutal Ministers.” On refusing to withdraw the remark, he was named and escorted by the sergeant-at-arms from the Chamber.
