CONFLAGRATION IN BARCALDINE A TOWN BLOCK”DESTROYED. United Piucss Association— Copyright (Received August 10, 9 p.m.) BRISBANE, August 10. A fire at Barcaldine last might destroyed a whole block itt the main street, comprising four hotels' and twelve shops. Exciting scenes were witnessed. Some of the residents escaped; in their night clothes. The damage is estimated at £14,000.
