THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ .'general weather forecast: Moderate to ’ strong westerly winds are probable generally, with a slowly falling barometer. Fair weather probable over the North Island, and changeable weather elsewhere. Rain probable on the West 'Coast and southern districts of the South . Island. A small area of low . pressure passed the south about noon to-day, but a larger disturbance is due to follow, with lowest pressure between the 13th and 14th.
