THE WEATHER

The following is the Rev. D. C. Rites’ weather forecast: —Moderate to strong easterly winds are probable -north or Hokitika and Lyttelton* and increasing northerly winds elsewhere. The weather will probably continue fair in the north, but on ike west coast and the southern districts of the South Island rain and misty weather are likely to precede a fall in barometric pressure, due by the 14th.
