STRANGE FIND.
BANK NOTES WORTH £68,000
DISCOVERED IN A RAILWAY CARRIAGE. United Press Association —CopyniGin LONDON, August 11. <■ A eleaner discovered a casli-box containing £68,000 sterling worth of bank notes in a railway carriage at Benevento station, Italy. -There was no trace obtainable as to the ownership of the notes. The carriage had lately been used in an earthquake-ravaged district, and it is surmised that the notes were the spoil of thieves.
