THE FRANCO-BRITISH EXHIBITION. United Press Association —Copyright (Received August 13, 9 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. The executive of the Franco-British Exhibition has relieved the guarantors of all liability, and handed to Sir Edward Grey £IO,OOO, balance of profits, for distribution among British and French charities.
AMERICAN COMMERCIAL \ TREATIES. NEW YORK, August. 13. The United States has announced that the treaty with Holland is to terminate in August next year, and that the commercial agreements with France will lapse in November next.
FATAL FALL OF ROCK
SYDNEY, August 13
A fall of rock at Bulahdelah killed two miners named Keel and Ciockford, and injured a third. '
