THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ weather forecast: An anti-cy-clonic pressure is now giving way to a westerly area of low pressure advancing upon the South Island. Steady rain, coming on as a drizzle, is probable in most parts south of New Plymouth and Napier, and changeable conditions, farther north, especially on the west coast. Freshening northerlics are probable everywhere, and a falling barometer.
