MILITARY ETIQUETTE. [To THE EDITOE.] Sir, —I was surprised and grieved to read in your valuable columns that the King’s uniform should be brought into sucl° ridicule as is proposed for Tuesday evening’s social. As I know from - past experience—with all due respect to our colonial Premiers — that a guard of honor should not he granted to any Government representative, not even the Prime . Minister of Great Britain, I thing, Sir, that the Hon. Jas. Carroll would not in the slightest way feel disappointed should such a thing he dispensed with.—l am, etc., “FORAGE CAP.”
