The widespread sympathy which lias been aroused by the .death under pathetic circumstances' of Miss Linda Law was' evidenced by the very large attendance at her funeral, which took place yesterday afternoon. A tram ot nearly fifty vehicles followed the hearse which bore her coffin from St. Maiy s Roman Catholic Church to the Makaraka cemetery, where her body was interred. The funeral rites wero conducted by> the Rev. Father Lane.
