EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS.
EXPERIENCED IN JAPAN. THIRTY PEOPLE KILLED. United Press Association— Copyright TOKIO, August 15. An earthquake was experienced at Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka. Thirty people were killed and 82 injured. ESTIMATE OF KILLED INCREASING. COLLAPSE OF A MOUNTAIN. (Received August 17, 12.50 a.m.) TOKIO, August 16. Nagoya is badly damaged. The estimate of killed and injured is hourly increasing, doubling the original figures. Mount Miki, an extinct volcano, collapsed with a thunderous roar.
