Members urged the Minister to promise drastic action to prevent the spread of blight. ADELAIDE, August 18. Irish blight has been discovered in the State. So far as is known only a limited area is affected. MELBOURNE, August 18. An. inter-State conference of Ministers of Agriculture has opened. The chief subject of discussion is potato and fruit diseases and The framing of legislation to deal therewith.
