THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. I). C. Bates’ weather forecast: Moderate to strong 'sofitherly winds, changing by west to northerly, are probable generally. Fanweather is probable northward of Hokitika and Oamaru, and changeable weather in the southernmost districts. An area of low pressure is now advancing from the westward, and will probably. cause very unsettled weather shortly to the south of New Plymouth and Napier. The lowest glass is due between the 22nd and 23rd.
