The objects of the Bill are to vest portions of the said Tawhiti Numbers 1A and IF Blocks citapriised in a plan deposited m the Land Transfer Office at Gisborne, under No. 1565 in the Public Trustee, free from all restrictions in order to carry out an agreement for sale and purchase of the said lands made between the Native Owners of the said lands and the Tokomaru Sheepfarmers’ Freezing Company, Limited. Alter such lands have been vested m the Public Trustee, he shall, upon having allotted to him shares in the company of a face value equivalent to the amount of the consideration agreed upon as the purchase price of the said lands, transfer . the said lands to the Company. Upon the interests of the various Native Owners being ascertained, the Public Trustee shall apportion and transfer the said shares to the various owners.
