IMPROVEMENTS DECIDED ON. O’Kn Press Association.! NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 21. The New Plymouth Harbor Board has decided to "proceed with the new wharf works in connection with the deep-sea harbor proposals. The Board has decided on a short- as opposed to a long wharf scheme, and proceeds at once to widen the existing wharves to 72ft. giving accommodation for five lines of rails. It was also decided to dredge the basin to a depth of 33ft at low water. A new dredge is now beino- constructed in England, and the ha” bor works should be so far advanced as to admit Home liners within two years.
