RAILWAY CONCESSIONS ON EXHIBITS. [Per Press Association.;] DUNEDIN, Aug. 21. A deputtion from the Otago A. and; P. Society waited on the Hon. J. A-j Millar in' support of a resolution roll cently carried at the Agricultural Con-' ference to the effect that exhibits consigned to a show should, without certificates. be carried at quarter rates, and that all such exhibits or part thereof, if returned to the original sending station within a stated time, be also charged; the quarter rate, returning stock to ha consigned by the association at whoa 1 show the stock was exhibited, such a< | sociations to be responsible to the Rail! wya Department that only the original exhibits, or part thereof, are returned. The Minister said he considered the proposal reasonable and businesslike, and seeing that the alternative suggested would not affect the railway revenue, he would endeavor to meet., the wishes of the associations. 1
