United Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, August 22. Tho Lunds are still hopeful in regard to the Waratah. FREMANTLE, August 23. The steamer Fuerth, from East London, conducted an unavailing search for the Waratah. REINSURANCE BUSINESS. AT 85 PER CENT. (Received August 23, 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, August 23. A large amount of business w r as being done on Saturday in connection with the Waratah at 85 per cent. MORE REPORTS OF BAD WEATHER. A STEAMER CAPTAIN PESSIMISTIC. (Received August 24, 1.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 23. The steamers Magdala and Wonga Fell, which left Durban and Capetown respectively within a day or two of the Waratah, report terrific weather just after their departure. The Magdala’s captain is pessimistic regarding the Waratah. The Magdala brings mails posted by the Waratah’s passengers at Dui-ban.
