SOCIALIST PAPER EXCLUDED FROM. INDIA. FOR PRINTING AN INFLAMMATORY ARTICLE. United Press Association— Copyright. LONDON, August 26. Hn the House of Commons the Master of Elibank informed Mr Will Thorne that at the instance, of the Indian Government the entry into India of the 'Socialist newspaper “Justice” had been prohibited, owing to an inflammatory and mischievous article directed against British rule. Mr Thorne inquired why the paper “'Justice” had been singled out. Similar articles had appeared in other papers. The Master of Elibank asked Mr Thorne to mention them.
Mr Thorne replied: : ’’Surely the honorable member does not think I am quite so foolish.” (Laughter.)
