ANOTHER DISASTROUS WRECK.
DEVOTED WIRELESS OPERATOR. HIS BRAVERY SAVES 134 LIVES. United Press Association —Copyright LONDON, August 29. The American steamer Ohio has been wrecked at Steep Point, Alaska. Mr Eccles, a wireless operator, was drowned, with four others. The operator stuck to his post until the room was flooded. His message brought two steamers, which rescued 134 persons.
