SUPPOSED SPY ARRESTED. United Press Association —Copykigiit LONDON, August 29. A supposed spy, while taking sketches, was arrested within the inner batteries of Leenan fort, the strongest in the north of Ireland. ANARCHIST PRINTER COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. Guy Aldred, the Anarchist printer, who printed a seditious article written by the Indian agitator, Krishnavarma, has been committed for trial. ATTEMPT TO WRECK A TRAIN. An attempt to wreck the East Indian mail train to Jamalpur by removing metals failed. A workmen’s slow train unexpectedly preceded the mail train, and was derailed. The loss of life is unknown.

Dr Alfred Mimes, lecturer at tho ( Commercial .- University, Berlin, is at present on a visit to Australia, and also proceeds to New Zealand to study social legislation. In an interview he stated that ,he knew the bulk of Australasian employers were much more friendly to workers than employers in Europe. He greatly admired the enormous scheme of old age pensions,;
