SALVATION A It.MY BIORAMA.
The Salvation Army Biorama, which acquired much popularity on its former visit to Gisborne, is to reappear here this evening, with a fresh programme, containing specially attractive features. The biorama is to be .exhibited for eight nights in His Majesty’s Theatre, and among the pictures to be presented will be a senes representing scenes from the persecutions of the early Christians, another showing episodes in the heroic story of the Scottish Covenanters, and a large collection -of views of scenery! and miscellaneous subjects. A number of humorous pictures will be included in the programme. The attractions of the biorama are to be enhanced by musical numbers—vocal solos and quartettes, orchestral selections, and items by the Biorama Silver Band. p atheTpictij res . There was a largo attendance at thePatlio Pictures last night, and the fine programmo presented was greatly enjoyed. Owing to the theatre being otherwise engaged, the company visit the country for six nights, and thepictures will be shown at Waerenga-a-hika to-morrow night, Ormond on Friday, Te Ivaraka on Saturday, Makara'ka on Monday, and Patutahi on Tuesday, returning.'!
