Her cargo for Gisborne was as follows : —From Lyttelton —131 sacks potatoes, 110 sacks oats, 25 sacks chaff; from Wellington—lo boxes butter, 110 sacks manure, also a quantity of transhipments ex Paparoa. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka arrived from south early yesterday morning, and after transhipipng her cargo of produce proceeded to Auckland. The following cargo was landed at Gisborne: From Bluff —65 cases preserved milk, 85 sacks potatoes, 100 sacks oats; from Oamaru —1 block stone, 60 sacks potatoes 132 sacks oats, 42 sacks (180’s) pollard, 110 (200’s), 20 (100’s), and 80 (50’s) flour, 1 box sundries; from Timaru —100 sacks and 120 (50’s) flour, 5 sacks wheatmeal, 341 sacks oats, 140 sacks chaff, 50 sacks potatoes, 31 sacks wheat. The TLS.S. Co.’s Moura returned from Auckland yesterday afternoon and sailed again for southern ports in the evening. , , The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus left yesterday morning for Westport. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrives here to-day from Auckland, via Tologa Bay. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora left Wellington at 2 a.m. yesterday for Picton, Napier, Gisborne, Coast bays, and Auckland. She is expected to reach Gisborne on Saturday morning. The auxiliary schooner Waiapu put back into the bay yesterday for shelter. Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. advise that the Shaw* Savill and Albion steamer Arawa was signalled at Hobart at 10.30 a.m. yesterday. In place of the Waikare re-entering .he Dunedin-Auckland via ports passenger service this week, the Tara we ra will continue in her present running. Captain Mcßride, late of the Fieri, is to take command of the ±*ianaponri this woek, in place of Captain Dawson, who goes on holiday leave.
