CLAIM FOR WAGES.

A FAMILY MATTER. [Per Press Association.l INVERCARGILL, Sept. 1. The Supreme Court has concluded the hearing of the wages case of William Gregory v. Mary Gregory (administratrix under the will of James S. Gregory). The claim was for £312, being six years wages at £1 a week, as manager of a farm. The case was a family matter in which all parties were beneficiaries under the will. His Honor said that plaintiff was entitled to something, but not £1 a week, ae.the proceeds from the farm were small, and that the amount named would trench on the estate. The plaintiff was entitledl only to the amount to which the estate benefited by his services, and was awarded £75 and costs, to come out ot the estate.
