RICH QUARTZ REEF DISCOVERED IN SOUTHLAND.

[Pee Peess Association.] 1 GORE, Sept. 1. The discovery of a rich quartz reef is reported from near Waikaia, about forty miles from Gore. A eamp.e anaylsed in Dunedin gave a return of 13 ounces to the ton.
