CYCLING.

ROAD RACE.

A cycle road race, for the championship of Gisborne, will take place this afternoon from Ormond to Grey Street. The competition will be for juniors and seniors, both classes racing together, and a gold medal will be awarded to the winner in each class. Mr. Parsons, of Ormond, will be the starter, and the race is to commence at 3 p.m. The following been received by Mr H. Anderson:—Sid. Tate; J. Jones, J. King, G. Bell, S. Whitehead, A. Anderson, L. Condon, A. Sutton, L. Wilkinson, A. Wilkinson; H. Davis, D. Morris, and A. Morris. Tlie juniors will be picked before the race starts.
