SALVATION ARAIY BIORAAIA
Despite the bleak weather last evening, there was a crowded audience in His Alajesty’s Theatre to witness the excellent programme of moving pictures exhibited by the Salvation Army Biorama Company. The pictures shown were well varied, and among the films was an artistic dramatic study, entitled “The Poor Boy,” which contained a story full of human interest, and fully aroused the sympathies of the audience. Some splendid scenic films were thrown upon the screen, and were interspersed with humorous subjects, which caused much merriment. -The company sang the anthem “Onward,” and the Silver Band played a selection, “Genevieve/' in a delightful manner. . A number of illustrated songs were also given. There will l>e a complete change of programme to-night, and a matinee will *oe given to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 p.m., when children will be admitted to all parts of the house for the sum of 3d each. - On Sunday afternoon a massed bands concert will be given in the Recreation Ground near the Taruheru River. The Biorama Band, the Salvation Army Band, and the City Band will take part.
