ANOTHER PASSENGER’S OPINION United Press Association— Copyright SYDNEY, Sept. 4. Another Waratah passenger who landed at Durban scouted' the idea that the steamer had too much tophamper. He declared that she behaved splendidly in bad weather. THE UNDERWRITERS PESSIMISTIC. (Received September 5, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 5. A meeting of London underwriters discussed the question, of co-operation in the Commonwealth Government’s Search for the Waratah outside familiar ocean tracks. Though the scheme is likely to be warmly supported, the feeling among underwriters is extremely pessimistic. Still, it is possible to reinsure at 90 guineas. Numerous offers have been received during the last few days to write the risk at that rate.
