CONDUCTOR CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Sept. 4. At the Supreme Court, on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the fatal tramway accident at Onehunga the jury found that there was no case against Hally, the motorman, and he was discharged. In the case against Birkett,tram conductor, charged with manslaughter, the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Sentence w r as deferred till Monday.
