THE DAVIS CUP. United Puebs Association —Copyright SYDNEY, Sept. 4. The Tennis Association discussed the New Zealand Association’s ultimatum regarding the Davis Cup. It Avas decided that the Association could not recede from the position taken up at last meeting. The secretary Avas instructed to write informing the N©av Zealand Association of this decision, and to intimate that the way is still open for New Zealand to rejoin, and to request that the reasons for New Zealand’s attitude be stated, so that any misapprehensions at present existing should he removed.
