PERRY’S BIORAMA.

There was* a very satisfactory audience at His Majesty’s Theatre again last evening, when Brigadier Perry s Salvation Army Biorama Company gave another entertainment. A fine series of films entitled “Heroes of the Cross,” showing the sufferings of the Christian martyrs in Rome, was shown, as well as a long programme of miscellaneous pictures. Several illustrated songs ana musical selections were given by the members of the company. The pictures will be shown again tonight, and there will be a, matinee this afternoon at 2.30 p.m. To-morrow evening the company appear- at le Karaka, and in all probability; an Outdoor performance will be given m Gisborne on Friday evening. PATHEPICTUREB. To-morrow evening at His Majesty s Theatre, the Pathe Picture Company will present to a Gisborne audience a programme of quite exceptional merit, comprising real 'gems or the animated pictorial art. In particular, “Love will find 1 a way” and “A Test of Friendship” are two pictures that have been most favorably commented upon by the Auckland papers. The scenic portion of the programme. has been well selected, and two highly interesting and educational pictures aro promised, “The City of Mexico” and “North Borneo.'?’ Other- noteworthy subjects will be “Lime Making,” an industrial picture of great merit, “A Good Stepmother,” and “A Welcome Burglar.” The comic element is to be exceptionally amongst the best pictures being “A Feed of Hay, _ A Volcanic Chimney,” and “Merry Microbes.” The projsramme will be presented on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. A new programme arrives on Saturday morning, and will be shown at the Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening.
