(Received Sept. 9, 9.55 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 9. An Australian wheat cargo has been sold at 41s 3d. THE HIDES MARKET. (Received Sept. 9. 11.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 9. The hides market is unchanged. There is good competition, and supplies are moderate. FROZEN MEAT. [Per Press Association.! NAPIER. September 9._ The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, Limited, London, cabled the following report of the frozen market: "We are glad to be able to report improvement in meat market. To-day’s prices are: Mutton, Canterbury 3Jd. Napier, Wellington, and Xoi/fch Island 2|d_: lamb, first qualitv 34d, second quality 3ld: beef, hindquarters 3|d, forequarters 2^d.
