Mr. Charles Berkeley arrived yesterday to complete arrangements for the forthcoming Julius Knight season, commencing on Monday next, September ‘2oth. After attending to various matters, Mr. Berkeley left in the evening for Napier, leaving Mr. W. Solway in charge of the interests of the company in Gisborne. , . . Mr J Ryan, of Auckland, who is to sing at the Orchestral Society’s concert to-morrow night, arrived m Gis■fiorne by the s.s. Ta-rawera yesterday.
