MURIWAI RACING CLUB. The attention of owners and trainers of horses is drawn to the race meeting 'of the Mqriwai Racing Club, to be held on Wednesday, October 13, and for which nominations close for the principal events next Monday night, September 20th, at 9 p.m. This meeting should be well supported, as it is the first unregistered race meeting to be held under the amalgamated chibs’ rules. The following are the results of the principal events at Tattersajl’s Club races:— Chelmsford Stakes.—Prince Foote 1, Artillerie 2, Malt King 3. .. Prince Foote beat Artillerie comfortably by a couple of lengths. Spring Handicap.—Byplay 1, Ra 2, Bluebook 3. Kaironna annexed the Hurdle Race.
