BUSINESS NOTES.
Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold auction sales at their mart, Gladstone Road, to-day, as follows: —Poultry, produce, and fruit, 11 a.m.; fur** liiture and effects, 2 p.m. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., will hold their usual spring horse fair at Mr. Con. Neenan’s yards, Ormond, on Monday, October 25th, when upwards of 250 horses of all classes will bo submitted to competition. Mr. H. J. Andrews’ special cheap sale of boots and shoes is to begin today. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., will hold their annual sale of town and suburban properties in His Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday, October 30th. Only a limited number of properties will be offered, nad early entries are requested. Present entries include 20 sections in Derby Street, Cobden Street, and Aberdeen Road. A gentleman’s residence, with' five acres river frontage and close to new High School and District School, is offered for sale by Mosssr Gaudin and Co. The price ,asked is such that should appeal to anyone looking for a speculation, or town residence. Full particulars in advertisement. Mr J L.
