TE RAU CRICKET CLUB—ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Te Rau Cricket Club was held in the Record Reign Hotel last evening. Mr. J. H. Wack presided. A rough balance-sheet showed the club to have a credit balance of £2 6s 7d. No annual report was received. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows Patron, Mr. F. Hall; vice-patrons, Messrs J. Rossbottom, R. W. Kyme, A. F. Kennedy, J. Sheridan, J. C. Parker, H. White, R. Johnston, and G.' K. Pasley; president, Rr. J. C. Collins; vice-presi-dents, Messrs R. C. Caulton, 1. G. Lawless, W. Howard, .and R. S. Chilton; secretary and treasurer, Mr. B. ■H. Borham; captain, Mr. J. H. Wack; vice-captain, Mr. J. Monk; management committee, captain, vice-captain, Messrs W. J. Scholium, and F. Ainey; match selection committee, captain, vice-captain, and 1 Mr. W. J. Scholium; auditors, Messrs 0. R. Olsen and R. Skeet; delegates to Poverty Bay Cridket Association, captain and secretary. , It was decided that the annual subscription should be 10s for seniors and o 3 for members nnder 18 years of age. The gift to the club of two pairs of cricket pads from Mr. W. J. Scholium, and of a ball from Mr. J. Monk, were received with acclamation. Owing to the fact that it would be difficult to get a Saturday team, it was decided to only enter for the Thursday competition. It was reported that a sub-committee had been elected and was making arrangements to hold a dance social on October 7. The following new members were elected:—Messrs F. Airey, R. Skeet, A. Johnston, T. Gibson, T. Swain, B. H. Borham, J. McGrath, H. Taigel, W. Tait, F. Yates, H. Charles worth, E. Dwyer, E. Fox, and R. Coleman. Votes of thanks were passed to the acting-secretary (Mr. R. Skeet) and the chairman, and the meeting, closed. ALHAMBRA CLUB. A meeting of members of the Alhambra Club was held last night, when it was decided', on the motion of Mr. J. Lang, seconded by Mr. Allen, to entei a cricket team for the Thursday competition, the matter of a Saturday team being held over. Officers for the new club for the coming year were elected as follows: President, Mr. G. Darton; vice-presi-dents, Messrs Horne, Ellerbeck, Andrews, H. Hobbins, H. Cato, J. H. Grieve, Douglas, Lennon. A. Wack, E. Stuckey, Friar, J. Thomson, C. Morse, Wootton, and H. Anderson; captain, Mr. J. Lang; vice-captain, Mr. H. Babbs; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Lang; management committee, Messrs O.°R. Olsen, Gorman, Atkinsqn, captain, and vice-captain; selection committee, captain, vice-captam, and Mr. 0. R- Olsen; delegates to the Poverty Bay Cricket Association, Messrs J. Lang and Allen. The annual subscription was faxed at 7s Gd fdr playing members, and 2s 6cl for honorary members.
