THE WEATHER
The following is the Rjcv. D. C. Bates’ weather forecast: —Cloudy and wet weather probable generally, with strong westerly winds. The barometer will probably ‘fall further in the northern districts and. alter rising slowly for a short time in the southern districts, will fall' again for another westerly disturbance due on the 19th. The weather to-day lias been stormy about Cook 'Strait and on the west coast of the South Island, arm cloudy and unsettled elsewhere.
