HOSPITAL SOCIAL.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE

A largely attended meeting of the Hospital Social Committe was held in the Borough Council Chambers last evening. It was reported that the tickets are being sold rapidly, and that the City Band had promised to supply a firstclass programme of dance music on the first night. Mr. Wootton’e orchestra will also be in attendance and play the extras. , ~ It was also stated at the meeting that the members of the ladies’ committee are meeting with great success in their canvass for subscriptions. Ihe general arrangements are well in hand, and everything points to a most successful function. The various sub-committees are requested to meet at the Borough Council Chambers next Monday night at 7.3 U o’clock, when final details in connection with the entertainment will be arranged.
