Thomas Irwin, who had been remanded for medical treatment, was fined 5s and 2s costs or 24 hours, for drunkenness, and was further ordered to .pay 25s expenses, or go to gaol lor four •lays. Phillip Alurray, who was arrested on Read’s Quay on Saturday afternoon while intoxicated, did not appear, and was fined 18s and 2s costs, the amount of his bail. AN INDECENT "ACT. A young fellow named Frank Davidson, who gave his age as 21, was charged with having committed a grossly indecent act in Customhouse street on Saturday night. The accused said he was drunk and did not remember what he was doing. He was sent to prison tor four days, with hard labor.
