WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22. (Before Mr. W. A. Barton, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Francis Gibbs was convicted of drunkenness and having procured liquor during the currency <£■ a prohibition order. He was bound over in one sum of £5 to come up for judgment when called upon John Ryan, a prohibited person, was tried on two charges of having procured homor and was fined £5 with 2s costs with an alternative of six weeks imprisonment in Napier gaol in each ease, the sentences to be cumulative. On a charge of being found drunk he was fined 10s and 2s costs or 48 hours in the local police gaol.
