THE LATE JOHN DAVIDSON.
BURIED AT SEA. United Preps Association— Copyrigiii LONDON, Sept. 21. The body of the poet J.ohn Davidson was, in accordance with his wish, buried at sea in the presence of his sons. The jury had. returned a verdict of found dead. Mr Herbert Gladstone, Home Secretary, in reply to an application to allow the corps© to be taken to sea, declined to approve of any course other than burial in the ordinary way or cremation. 'He refused to discuss legal points.
