Co.’s Moura arrives from South to-morrow morning, and sails later for Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera returns from Auckland on Sunday afternoon, and resumes her voyage South in the evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is not expected here from Napier until next Tuesday morning. She leavps here the same day for East Coast bays and Auckland. , The Canterbury S.S. Co.’s Ripple left for Wellington at midday yesterday. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo sails to-day for Coast bays and Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tuatea wa s taken off the slip yesterday after her annua! overhaul.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived from Auckland and Tologa Bay yesterday. She met with heavy weather on the coast. Thirty-five tons of cargo were landed at Tologa Bay, and there are 255 tons of cargo for Gisborne. She returns to Auckland this evening, with a part load of sheep. As cargo for Horae steamers is not offering very freely just now, and a.s there will no doubt be the usual slackness till the wool season commences, it is probable that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s two large cargo steamers, De’phio and Kia Ora, will be laid up for a oeriod at Port Chalmers. The Delphic, 8723 tons, is due at Port Chalmers from Lyttelton -'"this week. The Kia Ora, 6560 tons, now ,at Auckland, will reach Port Chalmers early next month. - A cable has been received in Wellington to the effect that the barque John Lockett, 779 tons, has sailed from Liverpool for Wellington.
