Fine mutton brought 335, and medium 31s; fine beef 32s 3d, and medium 30s. FROZEN MEAT. [Per Press Association.! NAPIER, Sept. 23. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company cable the following report on frozen meat: The mutton market remains firm, but there is no improvement in the value of lamb. Mutton and lathi) are now of the same value. Hindquarters of beef have fallen -|d. per lb. To-day’s quotations are : Mutton, Canterbury 31 d, Napier, Wellington, and Nort%,lsland 3|d; lamb., first quality 3Jd, second 3|d: beef, hindquarters 3jd, forequarters 2gd.
