Bates’ weather foreeast: Moderate to strong easterly winds and fair weather are probable north of New 1 Jymouth and Napier, and northerly winds with changeable conditions, though Generally fine, elsewhere. The barometer will probably fall slowly m the southern' districts, and a change nia>y be expected shortly in those districts, freshening winds and more cloudy weather heralding an area of low pressuie from the westward.
