The Queensland -elections are to take place on the 2nd. October, and nominations close on the 17th inst. Labor goes to the poll 23 strong; it expects to gam at least three seats, and if the city electorate is a straight-out contest, with no third party candidate, it hopes to have thirty representatives in the new Parliament.
