In oonection with the Catholic Congress, which opens to-morrow, pontifical high mass was celebrated to-day: in the Cathedral. In the afternoon the Australasian hierarchy was entertained at luncheon in the Town Hall. The Hon. John Hughes, Vice-President of the Legislative Council, presided. Cardinal Moran and Archdeacon Rediwood ocoupied seats of honor. Ten prelates, including Bishop Lenihan, of Auckland, and a large number of clergy were present.
